General Help

The One Stop Application website allows Tahoe Donner members to apply for Building Permits and report Code Violations. It also allows members to request a Homeowner Inspections and Forestry Chipping and Tree Removal Permits.

You can save travel and waiting time by filing for permits online and checking your application’s status any time of day or night. You can also pay permit and extension fees online, and download and print your own building permits, plans, and other documents. If you have questions or are not sure what is required for the project you’re planning, you may still come to Tahoe Donner Architectural Standards Office (ASO) within the Northwoods Clubhouse for in-person guidance.

For a Firewood Permit, you will be required to pay at the time of Application Submittal. For other type of Building Permits, you will be able to pay for your permit application once the status is complete for the “Completeness Review” event. Once your application is approved you will be notified by email. You will see a “Pay Fees” link on the same line as the “View”, “Print Summary”, and “Add to Watch List” links. You can pay for up to 10 fees at one time.

In order to ensure that web users are being charged the correct permit fees, we do not require or allow payment before a review have been completed.

If your credit card’s billing address is different than the mailing address you used when you registered for the OneStop, please make sure to click the “Specify my billing address” button.

First, make sure to leave off city, state, zip code, and any apartment or suite number if your address has one. Only type in the house number and street name and hit Search. You’ll be able to enter an apartment/suite number on the next screen, and we don’t need the city, state, or zip code to locate the address.

If you’ve tried entering an address without an apartment/suite number, city, state, or zip code and still can’t find it, please call the One Stop Shop for assistance in determining what the legal address is for the location you’re searching for.

ASO staff will review your application and if it is complete, he/she will process it. In some cases, ASO staff will need additional information and/or clarification regarding your application and will contact you. You will receive a notification email as soon as a decision has been made regarding your application.

You’ll receive an email notifying you of the change in status and the document will be attached. You’ll be able to download and print your permit document.

You can also download your permit by finding the permit in Your Items and clicking the “Downloads” link beneath the permit or license header.

Finally, stop by the ASO Office to pick up an “all weather” permit jacket for when posting of your permit is required (i.e. for all projects that required neighbor notification).

We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover online. You can also pay in person with a check or cash at the ASO Office at the Northwoods Clubhouse at 11509 Northwoods Boulevard.
